Why Employee Engagement Matters

Employee engagement is about how the day-to-day experiences of employees influence their performance, and ultimately the performance of their organisation.

There is a strong business case for employee engagement which shows how an engaged workforce correlates with business performance.

The Employee Engagement Task Force was created to share good practice, generate debate and offer support via the Engaging For Success website. It builds on the report ‘Engaging for Success', which David MacLeod and Nita Clarke produced in 2009 for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Grass Roots is a member of the Guru Group, which acts as an employee engagement 'think tank' that feeds into the Task Force.
