Diversity Training Programmes

Grass Roots diversity and disability programmes are available as workbooks or as eLearning. They are quick to deploy, and learning is easy to measure through simple testing. Their powerful content is written in conjunction with experts like Lord Herman Ouseley - the past Chair of the Commission for Racial Equality and Phil Friend, Chair of RADAR, the UK's largest disability campaigning organisation.

Respect For People – This looks at why we should value diversity, essential information about people's ‘protected characteristics' and cultural awareness, what constitutes discrimination, and the key adjustments we all need to make. It also describes the latest legal framework that the Equality Act 2010 introduced, illustrated with detailed examples and case studies.

As well as supporting many private companies' equality and diversity policies, the content has been developed to enable public sector organisations to satisfy the staff training requirements implicit in the new Equality Duty. It also satisfies the Equality Standard for local authorities and the recently simplified NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).

Welcoming Disabled People - This gives clear advice on working with disabled colleagues and customers, and the adjustments disabled people expect. It looks at disability equality and the social model and describes the latest legal framework that the Equality Act 2010 introduced.

Clients using our diversity training services include the Royal Opera House, University of Westminster, Acas, Raytheon, UBM, ITV, Waitrose, A4E, A2/Dominion Housing, Surrey and Oxfordshire County Councils and almost all NHS Trusts in England.
