Tester
Technology is seeking a Tester to help develop and implement a revised approach to product and client application testing. The outcome will be improved product quality, higher customer satisfaction and reduced re-work.
To help create then implement and continuously improve a testing system in the software development team. To assure quality by defining strategy, planning, executing and monitoring the success of tests on client projects and products.
The successful candidate will have experience in writing test strategies/plans and testing web and rich client software applications written in one or more of the following: MS technologies, HTML, Java and JavaScript. Knowledge and experience of the full software development and testing lifecycle is essential. A disciplined and systematic approach in carrying out tasks and attention to detail. Work effectively alone and as part of a team. The proven ability to influence others. A persistent and tenacious approach to achieving goals. Knowledge and experience of a wide range of testing tools and approaches. Able to direct own activities with little day to day management. Understands and has actively participated in the process of organisational continuous improvement.
